From King Pigeon to Monkey King (splits) to King Dancer, we'll explore many different backbends, sometimes focusing on flexibility but always focusing on strengthening the muscles in the back. If backbends are a challenge for you, as they are for me, don't forget your props, especially a strap. This is an intermediate to advanced vinyasa flow practice but we'll take is slow so you have time to prepare for and ease into each challenging pose.
