Workshops & Tutorials
We offer a wide variety of workshops to provide our members with the knowledge and skills to produce their content. We offer training for people at every experience level – from beginner to advanced. Whether you want to learn how to use a camera to document a local event – or your organization wants to produce a 5-part series about local artists – we’ll show you how to do it successfully.
Looking to expand your production knowledge from the comfort of your own home? Check out our vast tutorial library! We’ve created a number of tutorials on topics such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with theory-based subjects such as sound design, media literacy, and planning.
Is your school or are your students producing video content? We want to share it with the community! Submit your videos to us and create a special school page on the CMAC website and we’ll broadcast it on our Education TV channel at no cost. Our Education channel can be seen on Comcast and AT&T U-verse in the cities of Fresno and Clovis and parts of Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, and Tulure counties. This is also a great way for your school to get information out to the community. We’ll distribute programs of any length, even short PSA’s and promotional videos.
CMAC offers a variety of video production training, starting with the new member Orientation. Orientation explains what CMAC is all about and the services we offer to the public.
Please make sure you have paid your CMAC membership dues after watching the online orientation to take advantage of CMAC services. You can pay your membership dues online by visiting the Membership page or in-person at our media center.
Can’t make it to one of our regularly scheduled workshops? Don’t worry, we offer private training!
For a small fee, we can customize a training schedule that will work best for you or your organization. Reach out to our Community Media Manager for more information.
