Kelly's Yoga Mat: A Boatload of Balance

This pesky wrist injury just won't leave me alone but I'm not going to let it stop me from continuing my yoga practice. So let's take any wrist intensive poses out of the equation for today but keep our practice plenty intense by focusing on balance.Balance is one of my favorite and most important focuses in yoga. Balance is necessary for a top performing athlete, allowing them to be nimble and prevent injury, as well as a top performing mom or grandpa, allowing them to navigate the PTA or snow covered walkway with grace. Balance targets all the stabilizing muscles that protect your joints during movement and is a marvelous way to consciously engage and strengthen your core.
