Welcoming Our New Production Apprentices!

We recently welcomed three new Production Apprentices to the CMAC Team! Joining us from the One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps Program, Faith, Lor and Alex dove into the exciting world of Community Media back in March and have helped us with everything from production to member support around CMAC. Next time you’re around, don’t forget to say hi!

About the Program

The One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps Program offers youth the opportunity to gain work experience in various departments at the City of Fresno and with community partners like CMAC.

Assignments can range from working in an office setting to outdoors in the field, all while working alongside professional staff to best serve Fresno.

Objectives:
Entry-level employment in City government and career paths for upward mobility.

  • Remove barriers of vulnerable residents for training and employment within the City of Fresno
  • Provide job training, and mentorship through existing partnerships
  • Provide tools for success in future employment at the City of Fresno or other organizations
  • Provide a living wage for fellows throughout the program

One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps is focused on hiring youth that face barriers such as:

  • Difficulty finding employment
  • Are low-income
  • Are unemployed and/or out of school
