Equipment Check-Out is Available!

CMAC is open twice a week for outdoor field equipment check-outs and check-ins and is complying with state and county COVID-19 guidelines. Laptops with editing software are now available.

Members who wish to check out equipment can submit a reservation request at cmac.tv/checkout. Staff will confirm your pick-up and return times. Reservations are limited to Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 6 p.m.

When you arrrive at CMAC at your specified time, please go to the ground floor entrance on the south side of the building. Call the front desk at 559-266-2622, ext 1, or press the “call” button if you don’t have a mobile phone. A staff member, wearing gloves and a mask, will greet you outside the door.

Please note: Equipment picked up on a Tuesday must be returned that Saturday. Equipment picked up on Saturday must be returned the next Tuesday. This longer check-out period gives us time for sanitization and quarantining of equipment between uses. Should a pick-up or return be delayed, members must immediately email us at info@cmac.tv or call 559-266-2622, ext 1, leaving a detailed message. Extensions may be granted by request when possible.

For now, the indoors areas of our media center are closed. Only CMAC staff may enter the building and no studio reservations are possible at this time. We look forward to welcoming the community back inside when it is safe. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you have any questions, please email us at info@cmac.tv.

Previous update from May 16, 2020:

Due to Governor Newsom’s “Stay at Home” order, CMAC will be temporarily closed until further notice. We have many virtual services available including video tutorials, submitting videos for playback online, and continuing to provide community content on our TV channels and digital platforms. Our staff can also provide advice on live streaming and using media technology during this time of social distancing. If you or your organization needs assistance, please email info@cmac.tv.

You can still submit your videos for playback using our online form. If you have any issues or questions regarding programming submissions, please email our Programming Coordinator Johnny Pecina at johnny@cmac.tv.

We know situations like these can be scary and uncertain. Please remember there are several things you can do to stop the spread of germs and help protect our community:

  • If you are feeling sick, stay home and contact your healthcare provider.
  • When out in public, be sure to cover any coughs and sneezes.
  • Don’t shake hands with others.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often.
  • Wipe down commonly used surfaces daily.

We are committed to listening to the needs of our community and will address changes to the ongoing situation as they happen. We will do our best to continue to provide media resources to our members and the community in a way that is safe for everyone involved. Please follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at info@cmac.tv.
