Highlights for June 2024
We wrapped up June with a bang! The final week took us to sunny San Jose for the annual ACM National Conference, where hundreds of amazing organizations like CMAC came together to share best practices and brilliant ideas. We didn’t just leave inspired—we also brought home the National Hometown Media Award for Overall Excellence in Public, Education, and Government Access!
Our members spent a lot of time working hard on their projects last month! In June CMAC staff fulfilled 118 facility reservations and 99 equipment reservations!

June was a shorter month for us but none the less we welcomed 178 visitors! That’s right – members, crew, talent, and even some adventurous souls who couldn’t resist exploring the charm of our historic building. We’re absolutely delighted to have such a vibrant and lively community at CMAC!

June was Pride Month, and we celebrated by showcasing some awesome media highlighting the Central Valley’s LGBTQ+ community. There is plenty to watch, including this year’s Pride Parade, which took place at the start of the month!
Our community producers blew us away with 173 fresh program submissions! From charming fillers to delightful specials, there’s an incredible variety waiting for you to explore! And guess what? You don’t even need to be a member to submit your programs to our channels!
June kept our Production Team busy. Over the last 30 days, they worked on 21 different productions! These productions encompassed a wide range of events including board meetings, and city council sessions. Beyond their productions, they also covered The Munro Review, a long-time-running show that covers all things art in the Central Valley!

It’s been a bit since our last spotlight, so we’re thrilled to shine the light on Annie Nguyen. Bursting onto the scene with incredible energy, eagerly jumping into volunteer opportunities that came up. Thank you, for your amazing contributions to our community.
