Highlights for February 2025
Big news! Last month we got some serious love from the City of Fresno. Mayor Jerry Dyer along with the Fresno City Council made an official proclamation declaring February 27th “Community Media Access Collaborative Day!” We are thrilled that all the hard work we’re doing—giving local voices a platform, providing access to media resources, and empowering our community—is getting the recognized. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
February was Black History Month, and we honored it by showcasing impactful media created by, for, and about the Black community in the Central Valley! From everyday conversations to historical moments and local news, our community producers bring powerful stories to life.
Our members are doing an incredible job! We fulfilled 170 facility reservations and 95 equipment reservations! Our members are working so hard to share their stories, and we truly appreciate all their efforts.

Last month, we had 299 visitors at CMAC! Our building was buzzing with energy, from members and crew to talent and curious visitors. It was a month filled with creativity, exciting new projects coming to life, and tons of fresh connections sparking all around!

In February, our Production Team tackled 25 exciting projects, from board meetings to city council sessions. A highlight of the month was the Munro Review episode, showcasing Fresno State University Dance and The Armenian Museum of Fresno.
