Highlights for August 2024
September 30th marked the end of our Giving Campaign, and thanks to your incredible support, we raised a total of $6,825! We couldn’t have done it without the amazing generosity of our community—you’ve helped keep community media thriving in the Central Valley.

Our members were hard at work on their projects last month! CMAC staff fulfilled 100 facility reservations and 129 equipment reservations!

In August, we welcomed 260 visitors! That’s right – members, crew, talent, and even some adventurous souls who couldn’t resist exploring the charm of our historic building. We’re absolutely delighted to have such a vibrant and lively community at CMAC!

We’ve launched Fresno Art Beat! Offering locals (18+) hands-on media production experience while covering Fresno’s arts and culture scene. Participants will earn a stipend and build their portfolio! Hosting an event? Request free coverage today!
Our community producers didn’t skip a beat! This September, they kicked it up a notch with 177 new programs hitting our channels! From charming fillers to delightful specials, there’s an incredible variety waiting for you to explore!
And guess what? You don’t even need to be a member to submit your programs to our channels!
September was a lively month for our Production Team, with 27 diverse projects under their belt, including board meetings and city council sessions. A standout this month was their work at Fresno State, where they ensure all studio equipment is maintained and ready for the Fresno State Focus broadcast. They also make sure it airs seamlessly to our channels!
