Swede Fest is a film festival for sweded films – short, homemade recreations of your favorite Hollywood movies. This year we’re returning to the historic Tower Theatre in Fresno. Admission is FREE, but RSVP on Eventbrite for reminders.

It’s easy to create your own sweded film. Just pick your favorite movie and remake it in a fun, creative, low-budget fashion using your friends or family, and whatever you have laying around the house. Make sure your video is under 4 minutes in length and is appropriate for all ages, then submit it at SwedeFest.com. We will all get together and watch all the submissions at a special screening event in December, exact date, time, and location to be announced.
