Highlights for August 2024
What a night of thrills and chills at our Halloween-themed meetup! From creepy costumes to spine-tingling film ideas, the creativity was off the charts. Our filmmakers didn’t just bring their ideas—they brought the Halloween spirit, too!

Our members were hard at work on their projects last month! CMAC staff fulfilled 152 facility reservations and 127 equipment reservations!

In October, we welcomed 266 visitors! That’s right – members, crew, talent, and even some adventurous souls who couldn’t resist exploring the charm of our historic building. We’re absolutely delighted to have such a vibrant and lively community at CMAC!
Our mission is to empower community voices by promoting media literacy, civic engagement, cultural understanding, and creative expression. So schedule your visit to CMAC and see all that we have to offer you!
Our community producers didn’t skip a beat! They kicked it up a notch increasing our program submissions by 27.5% with a total of 244 new programs hitting our channels! From charming fillers to delightful specials, there’s plenty of variety to explore!
And guess what? You don’t even need to be a member to submit your programs to our channels!
October was a lively month for our Production Team, with 45 diverse projects under their belt. This is a 66.7% increase from the month before! Just WOW! This includes board meetings, city council sessions, and more. A standout this month was their work covering Forum, from city forums to California Congressional Forums.
