Highlights for April 2025
We’re proud to have featured three incredible acts during April’s ArtHop: Brother M, Knuckleball, and For The Record. Alongside the performances, we welcomed new faces, upcoming opportunities at CMAC to those who stopped by for the show. We also showcased the work of our local youth producers to kick off the launch of this year’s Youth Voices Program. It was a great night to celebrate Fresno’s amazing local talent!
Our members were on fire last month! That spark translated into 186 facility reservations and 97 equipment checkouts. We are thrilled to see the passion and drive for sharing their stories!
Last month, 400 people stepped into CMAC with passion, purpose, and potential. Each visit brought new ideas, bold creativity, and powerful storytelling into our shared space. This is more than just a media center, it’s a home for visionaries.

April marked the launch of our 6th annual Youth Voices Program! This program is dedicated to providing local junior high and school students a space to explore media production and develop their creative voice. Applications opened at the beginning of the month and the program is set to begin in June.
April brought a wave of creativity to the CMAC channels with 224 original program submissions, showcasing the talent and diversity of our community. These programs are now available to watch on CMAC’s channels, website, and streaming apps.
Remember, you don’t have to be a member to submit your programs for air at CMAC!
In April, our production crew completed an impressive 38 productions! A major highlight was recording the annual State of Downtown, where the team helped capture updates on what’s happening around town. It was also a valuable learning experience for our new Production Apprentice, Wynry, who enjoyed getting hands-on camera experience and working with CMAC Staff!
