By Bus
CMAC is conveniently located near key Fresno Area Express (FAX) bus stops:
- Van Ness Station: Just a short walk northwest of CMAC, this station is served by FAX Routes 1 (Q), 22, 26, 28, 32, 34, and 38.
- Courthouse Park Transit Center: A 2-minute walk from CMAC, this hub connects riders to several bus routes serving Fresno.

By Bike
Fresno’s downtown area offers bike-friendly streets, some with dedicated with dedicated bike lanes. The Fresno Midtown Trail and protected bike lanes on Palm and Belmont lead toward downtown Fresno. Ride safely by using bike paths where available.
Visitors can coordinate with CMAC staff to secure their bikes on the bike rack located on the first floor. Bicyclists will need to have their own bike lock.

By Car
- From North Fresno:
Take Blackstone Avenue south toward downtown Fresno. Turn right onto Divisadero Street, then left onto Van Ness Avenue. CMAC will be on your left at 1555 Van Ness Avenue. - From East Fresno:
Head west on Highway 180 toward downtown Fresno. Take the Van Ness Avenue exit and turn left (south) onto Van Ness Avenue. Continue to 1555 Van Ness Avenue, which will be on your right. - From South Fresno:
Drive north on Elm Avenue or Highway 41. If on Highway 41, exit onto Divisadero Street and head west. Turn left onto Van Ness Avenue, and CMAC will be on your left. - From West Fresno:
Use Highway 99 heading north and merge onto Highway 180 East. Take the Van Ness Avenue exit and head south. CMAC is located at 1555 Van Ness Avenue on the right side of the street.
Parking is available in the lot at the northwest corner of Van Ness and Calaveras. Visitors may park for free in the spots marked “CMAC Parking Only” or my pay the day rate for parking in unmarked spots.
When You’re Here
There are two entrances to access CMAC.
The lobby entrance is located off of Van Ness Avenue. Visitors can enter the gates at the front of the building and take the staircase on the right hand side. Please use the call box at the top of the stairs and staff will buzz you in.
Our ADA accessible entrance is located on the southeast side of the CMAC Building, directly under the mural. Visitors can use the call box located next to the double glass doors to contact staff to let you in.
