DescriptionCelebrating Women’s History Month by shining the light on some of our local female leaders. "Hello, my name is Ashley Damo and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children and families in Fresno County. I am an advocate for LGBTQ+ individuals in the community and serve as a board member for Trans-E-Motion. I am also a member of Sigma Alpha Zeta, a multicultural sorority that promotes domestic violence awareness throughout California. When my schedule permits, I also love to give back to the community by volunteering for organizations like Beautify Fresno and Central Valley Community Cookouts. I am excited about this opportunity to tell my story and reach women who may be facing the same issues that I have faced throughout my educational and professional career. On my days off you can find me recharging and practicing self-care by spending time with my wife and dogs, dancing salsa, traveling, or cooking."
