More than 25 years after legendary football coach Pat Hill gave Fresno State its iconic nickname, we’re reigniting the spirit that fuels the Central Valley. Featuring the voice of Fresno State alumnus Manuel Olgin, Jr. (founding member of the Chicano Alumni Club and co-creator of our Chicano/Latino Commencement Celebration), our new campaign celebrates the people, places, and passion that make our Valley special. From the beauty of nearby Yosemite (we’re the largest US city within 90 minutes of three national parks) to the excitement of standout Bulldog athletes like Murf Gray (Mountain West Co-Player of the Year, now Pittsburgh Pirates draft pick) and Bryson Donelson (sophomore running back and one to watch this football season), and everything in between, these are the sights and sounds – and tastes! – of Fresno State.
