Part 2 of interview with filmmaker Pete Nicks. He is the chief story teller and founder of openhood.org and won a directing award for his latest film 'The Force' at the 2017 Sundance film festival. In this interview he shares the importance of storytelling in connecting with people and communities and how they help generate empathy. As a young man Nicks got involved in drugs and spent a year in the federal prison and he shares how that has helped and shaped his understanding of people and society.
