Meet some of the 12 student perfumers at Grasse Institute of Perfumery. In addition to having a passion for perfume, students must be able to distinguish and memorize about 500 different fragrances -- a tough task! We chatting during break time at Philipe Collet’s raw materials class, where we spent the morning trying to recognize and evaluate scents. I asked them
why they decided to go into perfumery -- a question no one had the problem answering!
