Join RobLive as we sit down with accomplished screenwriter Tom Nelson, whose life took an unexpected turn after witnessing a shocking murder in his hometown of Jackson, Mississippi. This event led Tom to pursue a successful career in screenwriting, with notable projects including the TV series Renegade starring Lorenzo Lamas and the made-for-TV movie Between Love and Hate featuring Susan Lucci. Later, Tom transitioned into education, teaching in some of the toughest, most impoverished neighborhoods of Los Angeles. His passion for helping youth eventually led him to create The MJ Project. This nonprofit organization provides essential resources like personal libraries, clothing, and food to ensure students have the tools to succeed academically.
