Fresno State Course Spotlight: Plant Science, Bee Biology and Apiculture

Located in the world’s most productive agricultural region with access to a 1,000-acre campus farm, Fresno State’s Plant Science Department provides an academic experience that is deeply rooted in field-based curriculum. This course offers students the opportunity to learn about the biology of bees and their complex role in agriculture, as well as how to care for hives in both commercial and residential settings, all in an effort to train the next generation of leaders to implement sustainable practices and develop innovative solutions.
