This informational film was made in the 1960's to educate the public about the community need for flood control and urban storm drainage, and the creation of the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District to provide those services. It is a snapshot in time - the style, the narration, the music, and even the cars and in-progress construction shown. FMFCD was created by voters just a few years before this film was shot, and was just beginning to acquire property and build infrastructure.
