The County Counsel's Office is a critical piece of county government. It is the general counsel to the Board of Supervisors, elected and appointed officials, and all other county offices and departments. The Health and Welfare Division diligently reviews contracts and offers counsel to ensure the well-being of dependent children. Litigation handles legal matters related to litigation and personnel. Additionally, General Law reviews contracts and provides counsel to the County.
