Raj Singh Badhesha has made history by becoming the first Punjabi Sikh person appointed to the Fresno County Superior Court. During a ceremony at Fresno City Hall, surrounded by his family, friends, and Sikh community leaders, Badhesha was enrobed as a judge. Notably, he will be the first Sikh judge in the U.S. to wear the traditional Sikh headdress. Badhesha will preside over criminal misdemeanor cases.
