The mission of the Fresno County District Attorney's Office is to pursue justice and improve public safety for the people by ethically and aggressively prosecuting those who commit crimes. We develop innovative and collaborative solutions for the county while protecting the rights of victims and witnesses. We also work with community partners, focusing on keeping our children in school and preventing crime in our community. The Fresno County District Attorney's Office is one of the largest prosecuting agencies in California and consists of approximately 300 employees including skilled prosecutors, investigators and support personnel who handle approximately 50,000 criminal cases a year in the County of Fresno.
