DescriptionThe Planning Commission is the body that reviews development proposals for compliance with the General Plan and makes recommendations to City Council in the following areas: 1) Long range plans and maps for the City and plans for public improvements. 2) Plans and development plans. 3) Zoning and rezoning of property. The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. Regular meetings are held monthly at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall generally on the fourth Thursday of each month (third Thursday in April, November, and December).
