Clean Air, Clear Minds Improving Indoor Air Quality in Schools 2-3-2025

As part of Governor Newsom’s Smarter Plan, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) created a grant to support community education on indoor air quality (IAQ) . This video highlights Pacific Grove Unified School District, where poor air quality kept the school library closed for over three years during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the support of the grant, air quality monitors were installed, providing valuable data that allowed the library to safely reopen and provide an environment that fosters students’ learning.
