Through the College of Science and Mathematics’ undergraduate research initiatives, Kathryn Ramirez is working to save one of the first federally endangered species — the blunt-nosed leopard lizards. At its core, this work will help protect both the lizards and the region’s entire ecology from the adverse, environmental effects caused by humans.
