Born in Culicacan, Sinaloa in 1934, Maestro Álvaro Blancarte studied at the Fine Arts Workshop at the University of Sinaloa, and further developed his craft as a student in Spain, England, and France. He has been featured in dozens of prestigious solo and group exhibitions internationally: from New York City, to Gaza, Palestine, Yokohama, Japan, and museums throughout México. This exhibition is a collaboration between Arte Américas and our partners from the Ayuntamiento de Tijuana (IMAC) and the Consulate of México in Fresno.
