Oral History Project
February 8th, 2025, is CMAC’s Oral History Day—a special event dedicated to preserving the stories of our community! This is your chance to record and share your personal experiences, life events, and treasured memories. Whether it’s a family history, a milestone moment, or simply a reflection on life, every story is worth capturing.
Anyone in the Central Valley can sign up for a time slot to bring a friend or loved one to record their story.
A CMAC staff member will facilitate the on-camera recording, and you’ll get to take home the recording on a fancy CMAC USB drive!
Recording sessions will last about 30 minutes and we’ll provide sample questions to get the conversation going.
The recordings are funded through a donate-what-you-can process. The more you’re able to give, the more recordings we can produce!
