12 Hour Film Race 2017

What is the CMAC Film Race? It’s your chance to stop talking and start filming! Filmmaking teams have just 12 hours to make a short film. All writing, shooting, and editing occurs in a 12 hour window beginning Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 9am and ending the same day at 9pm. The following week, the completed films were screened to a public audience. Oh and did we mention prize money? Yep, $500 to the first place team, $250 for second place, and $100 for third place.

In 2017, we had 54 teams sign-up, with 40 teams picking up their packets, and 29 teams finishing their films in 12 hours. You can watch all the amazing completed films in the playlist below. Want to participate in our next CMAC Film Race? Visit cmac.tv/filmrace for more info.
