CMAC Board Nominations 2020

Do you want to play a part in CMAC’s future? Here’s your chance! CMAC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our 13 board members strongly believe in CMAC’s non-profit mission and give their time to help set the strategic vision and direction of the organization.

Each year, two people are elected from the membership to sit on the Board of Directors. If you’re a CMAC member as of August 10, 2020, you are eligible to nominate yourself or another person to run for election.

How do you nominate someone?

Members may nominate themselves or another member for election to the Board of Directors. Nominations shall be conducted in the following manner:

Failure to comply with the above will result in the invalidation of the nomination.

What are the responsibilities of a member of the Board of Directors?

Board members guide and provide input to the strategic direction of the Community Media Access Collaborative (CMAC), and to help grow the organization’s capacity to do its work through community networking and participation in outreach and fundraising activities.
