Resources for Work Against Racism

CMAC’s mission is to empower the voices of our community. We do that in part by providing a platform where those voices can be heard. The voices of dissent, the voices demanding change to the status quo, and the voices calling for action against injustices are too often ignored or silenced.

This week’s newsletter is dedicated to amplifying those voices. With protests and riots flooding our screens, we wanted to take a moment to share resources to help you navigate through the barrage of messages. We encourage everyone in our community to be part of the solution, to take the time to read, watch, listen to and help amplify the voices who need our attention most right now.

Below are just some of the resources available, aimed at helping us take an important pause to listen so we can move forward together.

Doc TV33: BLM Protest
Black Lives Matter Protest: March 31, 2020

If you are interested in learning how you can produce your own program and share your story, we invite you to attend our free workshop on how to effectively plan your production.
